Santa is busy organising the Boxing day inter elf football match.  He’s brought in some top Spanish elves and  thinks his team ‘elfski’ will win hands down.

The time has come for the elves to make the christmas cake.  They are using Santa’s favourite recipe.  It always turns out well.  It’s  ’Baking Made Easy’  The head elf wants to know if Santa wants party food too.  Just a quiche, Lorraine, he replies.

Friday’s Santa was Hilary Devey.  No prizes for guessing today’s Santa!

It all got a bit fiery in Santa’s grotto last Christmas eve.  The elves hid the pallets to store the presents on.  Never mind, by Boxing Day Santa thought it was hilarious.  Oh those devious elves!

Yesterday’s Santa was Mervyn King.  Who is it today? 

Santa’s sleigh is overloaded.  He is wondering how he will make it pay this year what with the price of fuel rising and air taxes.  Maybe he’ll have to charge for extras – wrapping paper, bows and labels.  A budget sleighline will do much better in the recession he thinks.

Yesterday’s Santa was Karren Brady.  Well done to Birmingham City football club and Cookie for their correct guesses.  But who is this?

Oh dear Santa’s plans keep going wrong.  He’s feeling all deflated now.  The elves are showing some interest though and have made him a nice cup of tea to QuEnch his thirst!  Maybe this will get him out of the slump and he’ll recover by tomorrow!

Sir Alan Sugar has written a very long christmas list.  Santa has given it to the elves to sort out.  They aren’t sure what to do but this Santa soon has them in line.  They certainly know who’s boss!

Friday’s Santa was Sir Philip Green. Who is today’s Santa? 

Santa had a bit of sleigh trouble as he set off to deliver the presents last xmas eve.  The brakes were sticky all the way round.   This year he has had it upgraded.  He’ll be a real jet setter in his new sleigh.  Rudolph says it will be so ‘easy’ to deliver the presents.

An update:  I asked Edexcel if the extra sampling would apply to all variations of BTEC level 3 programmes (e.g. diploma, certificate, subsidiary) and the reply was that it would only apply to the full diploma courses.  I.e. if you did not award a tripple grade you won’t be selected as part of the additional sample.  Hope this is of use to someone!
